A Little Bit Of Paris

Paris Building
Musee De Louvre
Lock Bridge in Paris
Notre Dame Cathedral
Laduree Macarons

February 2014.

Around this time two years ago I was lucky enough to travel to Paris during Paris Fashion Week. It wasn't my first trip to France but it definitely was a trip to remember.

Paris is without a doubt one of the most charismatic city's I've visited. Not only does it has some of the world's best known buildings and beautiful architecture but the atmosphere is incredible. The people are friendly, the streets are quaint yet charming and food is delicious!

My trip to Paris was short yet eventful and admittedly, I didn't actually do anything PFW related (there's always next time though!). My three day stay consisted of a few other special highlights including...

- Taking a peek at Mona Lisa in the Musee du Louvre. Great for art lovers but also just a bucket list thing to do when you visit Paris.
- Light a candle in the Notre-Dame Cathedral which actually means 'Our Lady of Paris' in French. The architecture here is stunning and a must see.
- Purchase my very first Laduree macarons (and yes they were well worth the queue!). Although you can visit Laduree stores across the world, there's just something extra special about visiting this luxury French bakery in Paris itself.
- Leave a love-lock on the iconic lock bridge. Somewhat controversial I know but I couldn't resist.
- Create special memories under the Eiffel Tower.

Although the events were memorable, the people you share those memories with are what makes them that extra bit special.

They say Paris is the city of love so I'm glad I was able to experience this city with the one I love :)
